Fishing Report



The purpose of this page is to give you my personal experiences of the fishing in the area.
Often times fishing reports are simply repeating what has been heard. On this page you will only find first hand reports on fishing.

Fishing locations.

You will notice that often times I don't mention the specific spot on the lake or the name of the stream. I don't mind sharing these locations with people but for the sake of protecting the smaller streams and not discovering twenty five boats in the spot I was fishing the night before I ask that you email me to get the details on locations. I will be as specific as possible in the reports as I can.

I cant think of any way to report the opener then to say it was simply great.

We have several people up this weekend and all caught fish. I spent serveral evenings fishing off the dock and each night caught a limit or close to it. Some throwbacks are being caught but mostly keepers ranges from 15" to 21" are normal right now and we expect to catch more tonight after a fish fry for dinner.

Perch fishing is heating up..

I wish I could give a first hand report but honestly have not had time to get out there myself. Lots of locals are getting into the perch now in 20 feet of water. This is the time of year it started getting good and the perch taken are always bigest of the season.

 

 
Fall 2007  

Fishing and Hunting.

The fishing was hit and miss all summer some groups did better then others. But as always a group of our regulars really knocked them dead.

Now that fall had arrived the fishing had picked up with the large walleye on the feed. In addition the hunting for grouse has been phenomenal.
