Frequently Asked Questions

When is check-in/ check-out?:

We are located in the Central Time zone. Our check-in is 2:00 p.m. CT and check-out is 10:00 a.m. CT.

Can I arrive early?:

Often we have snowmobilers that want to get in early and ride. It's not a problem for guests to arrive early in the winter and park their vehicle and trailer to go ride for a few hours. When you return from riding come down to the office and check in and then move your belongings in to the cabin.

In the summer, we have a very tight time frame on cleaning the cottages. However, if you want to come early and launch your boat and go out on the lake that's not a problem. Just stop back at the office later in the day to check in.

When is payment for my stay due?

Full payment for rental of the cabins is due at the time of check-in. Early departures are responsible for payment of the entire stay that was originally booked.

What is the deposit policy?

A $100.00 deposit is required to reserve a unit. The deposit is non-refundable. Please be sure of your reservation before you make it.

Do you take credit cards?

No, not at this time. Cash and personal checks are accepted.

I have a diesel. Do you have plug-in's?:

Yes, we have them available at several places on the parking lot.

Do you have smoking units?:

No, all of our units are non-smoking. However, there are decks on every cottage where you are free to smoke. Please dispose of the cigarette butts properly as children and pets are on the grounds all the time.

What do I need to bring with me?:

The only thing you need to bring with you is bathroom towels and personal items. All linens and kitchen utensils are provided. If you plan on using the charcoal grill you should bring charcoal and lighter fluid.

Do you allow pets?:

Yes, we do. There is a charge of $60.00 a week or $10.00 a night. We require that dogs and cats be crated when you are not in the cottage or that you take them with you. They can not be left alone in the units unless in a crate. Also we ask that you clean up after them outside.

What do the cottages have in them?:

They are a little house so everything you would expect: dishes, pots, pans, utensils, bedding, dish towels, cleaning items, coffee makers, microwaves, stove, refrigerator, charcoal grills ( you bring the charcoal and lighter fluid), satellite TV, and wireless Internet and some things I am sure I forgot. The only things you need to bring are bath towels.

I have a big truck and trailer. How's the parking?:

We have 4 slots specifically for large trailers and trucks. In fact, we have had campers with trailers behind them park in the spots so it's not a problem.
